Ben Davidson is the new head trainer for ‘The Gypsy King’ Tyson Fury and he has broken down the Anthony Joshua’s potential matchup with Tyson Fury.
Davidson shared his assertion that the undefeated ‘Gypsy King’ still holds all the aces when you break their match up down to skill level.
Tyson Fury garnered some praise for his effectiveness as a backfoot fighter, a man who can fight coming forwards while also being equally adept at fighting in both the southpaw and orthodox fighting stances.

Joshua, on the other hand, fights all of his fights in a typical come forward heavyweight who imposes his will on his man and aims to break him down with his concussive heavy hands.
Davidson began by breaking down the view that Fury lacks enough power to command the respect of his opponents at world championship level. Davidson shared his opinion that this has led to a distorted view of Fury’s punching power.
“One thing that’s underrated about Tyson is his power.”
“His style in certain fights has been to box, minimise risks by not holding his feet and not drive through the shots but if he needs to and hits any heavyweight on the chin flush, he’ll knock them clean out,” Davison told Isaac Robinson.

Davidson went on to explain his view that Fury possesses too much in his locker all around in a clash with Joshua.
“Tyson Fury has too much skill and too much altogether for Anthony Joshua.”
Davidson shared his belief that Fury is still one of the most talented fighters he has worked with despite his young age.
Additionally, Fury claimed that any heavyweight that climbs into the ring with Fury will struggle to fight the fight on his own terms.

“I’ve worked with other heavyweights and although I’m young, I’ve worked at a high level in boxing for a long time.”
“Anyone who comes in against Fury and thinks they can make it a certain type of fight, they’ll find they’re mistaken. He’s just got too much.”
