Lucas Browne is targeting a heavyweight title fight with the unified heavyweight world champion, Anthony Joshua according to his promoter, Ricky Hatton.
Furthermore, Hatton stated that Browne would be willing to give up an opportunity to take on WBO champion, Joseph Parker.
Browne is currently in talks to take on Parker, but his promoter is prepared to shelve those discussions in order to secure a much more lucrative opponent in Joshua.

“If Anthony fights Parker first, we want a shot at Anthony. Between the three of us, we will get our heads together,” Hatton exclusively told Sky Sports.
Hatton explained he is confident of finding a resolution to the scenario, especially because if Joshua and Parker are to agree to a potential heavyweight unification. The Australian Browne would then seemingly be left in the lurch without an opponent.
“We’re confident because we have the contract but we’re open to sitting down [with Parker’s team and Joshua’s team] to find an arrangement that suits all.”
Eddie Hearn said earlier this week: “Whyte may fight Browne, particularly if Joshua gets the Parker fight, because Browne is in the mix for that one too.
Although he is not currently a target for Browne, Hatton explained that he has no objections to that matchup.
“No disrespect but fighting Dillian before we fight Parker would be no bad thing,” Hatton said.

. “Big Lucas is up for either of those fights, but it depends on the best deal that we can strike,” Hatton added
‘The Hitman’ also credited the fearlessness his fighter possesses on a final note.
“Lucas has been inactive and needs to get back into the thick of it. His best attribute is his fearlessness – he went over to Chechnya to fight Ruslan Chagaev and there are not many people who would fancy doing that.”
