Former world champion David Haye has come out with a strong opinion on Floyd Mayweather versus Conor McGregor.
The boxing world is obviously expecting an easy Mayweather victory. That being said, many have recognised the risks that Mayweather is taking when fighting Conor McGregor.
Haye voiced his opinion recently and brought up interesting points on why this is a big risk on Floyd’s part.

“He’s [Floyd] risking everything. He could completely and utterly un-do an amazing legacy that he’s built since he was a young child,” said Haye.
The loss as a stat in his perfect record would not be the biggest problem. Instead, it’s the name next to it.
“If he gets beat by someone who is not even a boxer… for all those haters that he’s had over the years and he’s had plenty of them, they can say ‘I told you he was no good, he beat by a mixed martial artist'” said Haye.
Tony Bellew also recently warned Mayweather about losing to McGregor. The Liverpudlian wasn’t sparing any words when asked about what happens to Floyd if he loses.
“If Mayweather loses this fight, I would tell him that he has destroyed his whole career and legacy,” Bellew said according to the Express.
Again, even Bellew brings up the fact that McGregor could ruin Floyd if he wins on August 26th.
“No one would be able to look past the fact he’s been beaten by a man who is having his first professional boxing match. ‘Money’ is fighting someone who does not have one bit of knowledge and experience in a boxing ring if he loses, it ruins everything he has achieved in the ring,” he said.
