Jake Paul Offers UFC Star Two Fight Deal: ‘First We Box Then MMA’

It was announced this week that YouTuber-turned-boxer, Jake Paul, will fight in MMA by signing with promotion PFL, and it seems that he may have already lined up his first opponent.

The social media star has caused waves in the sport of boxing, as he pursues a dream of becoming a world champion – one many fans believe is highly unlikely.

‘The Problem’ Child has often been linked to a fight with Tommy Fury, however it seems that boxing politics may well have prevented the bout from ever coming to fruition. Nevertheless, the 25-year-old has caught the eyes of the boxing world and now boasts a professional record of 6-0 with four knockouts, although he is yet to face a true boxer.

It seems that his trend of facing former UFC men may continue. In a video posted on his YouTube Channel, the controversial influencer revealed that he has offered fan-favourite, Nate Diaz, a two-fight deal, with the second of those fights being in the PFL.

“I have already disrupted boxing. Now it is time to disrupt MMA. I know, that this is such a tough sport and it is not going to be easy, but if I could do it in boxing, I can do it in MMA.

I am so dedicated to this, that I offered Nate Diaz a two-fight deal. First, we box, then six months later we fight MMA, in the PFL SmartCage and lay it all on the line, if that is not balls, then I don’t know what is.

Nate Diaz, I am down to fight you, in your own damn sport. It is a two-fight deal, let’s make it happen.”

All of his last four wins in the ring have come against former UFC stars – Anderson Silva being the only opponent with a boxing win to his name.

Paul will now face the have to balance training boxing alongside all the other skills required to compete in MMA.
