Joe Joyce appears to have confirmed his next fight.
The former Commonwealth heavyweight champion, who now holds the WBA Continental crown, is set to return on February 23.
Joyce, 33, has a ledger of 7-0 with all of them early and is meant to be on the undercard of James DeGale’s vacant IBO World super-middleweight title clash against Chris Eubank Jr.
And it is understood that ‘The Juggernaut’ will fight at the O2 Arena in London, exclusively live on ITV Box Office, against former WBC World heavyweight champion Bermane Stiverne. He has not been seen in a boxing ring since his disastrous rematch with Deontay Wilder in November 2017.
But the 40-year-old has told several sources that he will be in with the Olympic 2016 silver medallist on the pay-per-view card next month.
Also on the card, Lee Selby will return to the ring at lightweight after moving up in weight.
The Welshman succumbed his IBF featherweight World title to Josh Warrington in Leeds last May and has been out of the ring since.
But he will be back with designs on becoming a two-weight king.
Further details regarding the supporting cast, that will also feature Chris Kongo, will be revealed in due course.
