John Fury Left Cut After Fight Week Bust Up With Team Usyk

John Fury’s involvement in Tyson Fury’s camp has significantly increased for the undisputed showdown with Oleksandr Usyk but today things turned sour as the 59-year-old was got a little too involved in proceedings and found himself bleeding after headbutting a member of Team Usyk.

Both Tyson and John Fury have both discredited chances of Usyk being able to put an end to the reign of ‘The Gypsy King’ in the past, labelling the Ukrainian as a ‘blown up middleweight’. However, in recent weeks there has been a growing belief amongst the boxing community that Usyk has what it takes to dethrone his fellow champion, so much so that he is now the bookmakers’ favourite to win the fight.

With tensions at an all-time high, excitement spilled over into chaos when the teams collided in the Middle East, as John Fury was left cut after what Tyson’s brother Shane claimed to have been a headbutt from his father onto a member of Team Usyk, as captured by Boxing King Media.

“A little idiot got headbutted and then he s**t himself.”

An enraged John Fury then began chanting support for his son and seemed even more motivated ahead of Saturday night.

“We can’t be beat, we can’t be beaten! We are Spartans! We are Spartans! We are Spartans! Fury! Fury! Fury! Let’s f**ing go!”

“I live for this f***ing s**t! I live for blood, guts and horror!”

Fury-Usyk takes place on Saturday night in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with ring walks expected around 11pm BST.
