Mike Tyson takes on Jake Paul in a shock boxing match-up this summer, and the heavyweight legend has sent a warning to his opponent in some newly released training footage.
Due to the age disparity and Paul’s improvement since turning professional, there are plenty who feel Tyson may not have it all his own way when they meet. Although, in his recently released video, ‘Iron’ Mike seemed sharp, and more alarmingly for Paul, seemed serious.
Whether fans like it or not, it is likely that Paul-Tyson will be one of, if not the, highest-profile cards of the year, assuming the clash is not snubbed when the official rules are revealed, amid concerns that the bout could be an exhibition, possibly even with headguards.
However, esteemed combats sports reporter Ariel Helwani has revealed that will be no headgear and that the promoters and fighters are intending for the contest to be an official one that will go onto Tyson’s 50-6 record.
19 years since his last official contest, Tyson is now preparing for his clash with Paul with his professional record possibly on the line and he appeared to be training with the ill intentions of old, rolling back the years and practicing his legendary front-footed style.

As of yet, fans are awaiting further details as to whether the bout will be a professional one and the number of rounds that will be scheduled, but it appears that these details are dependent on the ruling of the Texas Boxing Commision.
Regardless, the two will meet in the ring on July 20th at the 80,000 capacity AT&T Stadium in Dallas, with the event available to watch exclusively on Netflix.
