Although there has been no official confirmation it seems as though Mikey Garcia may have retired from boxing.
The four-weight world champion’s bio on his Instagram page @teammikeygarcia reads ‘Retired World Champ’. Other than that, there appears to be no other clue that the 34-year-old has indeed walked away from the sport.
Premier Boxing Champions (PBC), who promoted Garcia from 2017 to 2019 paid tribute to the decorated professional on Twitter perhaps giving the clearest hint it is true.
“The entire PBC Family would like to wish four-division world champion and modern-day boxing great @mikeygarcia a HAPPY RETIREMENT! Congratulations on an amazing career.”

Garcia’s career has spanned over 16 years and 42 fights which include world title success at Featherweight, Super Featherweight, Lightweight and Super Lightweight. One of the most skilful fighters of the last ten years Garcia shared the ring with Orlando Salido, Juan Manuel Lopez, Adrien Broner, Errol Spence Jr and more.
If this is the end of his career Boxing Social would like to wish Mikey Garcia a happy retirement.
