This upcoming weekend Manny Pacquiao will go through a career defining test. He is defending his WBO welterweight title against a tough challenger in Jeff Horn (16-0, 11 KO’s). A loss would mean that “Pac Man” is not the same fighter as before but a win could land him even bigger fights.
“I expect Manny’s best in this fight. I am looking for a big win here as we want to go on to bigger and better things,” said his trainer Freddy Roach according to worldboxingnews.net
According to the legendary boxing trainer, it’s do or die for Pacquiao.
“If he struggles in this fight, it could be over. Depending on how he lost, I would probably encourage him to retire.”
But if Pacquiao wins, then it’s a totally different situation. His team wants big fights and especially one in particular.
“Manny is in a must-win situation. He wants a rematch with Mayweather,” revealed Roach.
Can Pacquiao defeat the much younger challenger and continue his dominance? We will find out this Sunday.
