Manny Pacquiao is supposedly looking to make a matchup with the reigning UFC champion, Conor McGregor.
This follows a cryptic message directed at the man who is known as ‘The Notorious’ on his Twitter and Instagram pages.
The message from @mannypacquiao read “Happy Thanksgiving! Stay fit my friend. #realboxingmatch #2018 @thenotoriousmma,” said Pacquiao in his Instagram post which accompanied a photo of McGregor.”
Conor McGregor made his boxing debut against Floyd Mayweather, when he suffered a TKO loss in the tenth round which made his professional record read 0-1.
However, he played a big part in delivering the biggest PPV in combat sports history.
McGregor has endured call-outs from multiple prominent names in the sport of boxing following that bout.
Most recently the champions who have joined the bandwagon, include former champions Paulie Malignaggi, Oscar De La Hoya and now Manny Pacquiao.
Manny Pacquiao, is involved in the second call out of the MMA superstar this week. This incident follows Oscar De La Hoya stating on Golden Boy Radio, that he would “only need two rounds” to dispatch the 2-time UFC champion.
Former 6-weight world champion and 1992 Olympic Gold medalist Golden Boy Radio, saying: “You know I’m competitive. I still have it in me.
“I’ve been secretly training, secretly training. I’m faster than ever and stronger than ever. I know I can take out Conor McGregor in two rounds. I’ll come back for that fight. Two rounds. Just one more [fight]. I’m calling him out.
“Two rounds, that’s all I need. That’s all I’m going to say. You heard it on Golden Boy Radio. Two rounds, that’s all I need.”
