Phil Lo Greco and Amir Khan made headlines yesterday when the Canadian challenger got under Khan’s skin at their press conference in Liverpool.
After a few comments about Khan’s wife and the Anthony Joshua social media incident, Khan could not control himself anymore and threw water at Lo Greco and a brief scuffle ensued.

Lo Greco has also taunted Khan on social media for quite some time now by comparing the Bolton boxer to reality tv star Kim Kardashian.

After the press conference, Lo Greco gave his take on what happened.
“The fact that he can’t take it is not my fault. Isn’t this part of boxing? I didn’t make this sh*t up!” told Lo Greco to Boxing Social.
The challenger believes Khan is nearing towards the end of the line due to his knockout losses and inactivity.
“He’s not thick skinned. He’s mentally weak. Let’s be honest together, what happens to a fighter after he tries to pursue his career and he’s been severely knocked out multiple times? What happens, does it get better or worse? He’s run out of lives,” said the Canadian.
Lo Greco (28-3) has losses against the likes of Errol Spence Jr, Shawn Porter and has lost three out of his last six fights.
“How did I lose three of my last six? You guys don’t know how I got here. Spence, two days 16 pounds, and I actually won a round and then – too bad. Shawn Porter, he beat me fair. He wanted the fight more than me and was more hungry than me. The other fight that I lost in Florida that should have been stopped in round two. That guy hasn’t fought ever since. If you want me to justify me record, that’s exactly what happened.
The confident Lo Greco believes Khan is just the right fight for him at this stage, especially with 13 weeks to get himself in fighting shape.
“They are saying that I’m his tune up. No, he’s my tune up. I need a tune up fight myself. Who better than Amir? He’s been out of two years, it’s a good a tune up fight for me and I’ve got time to get ready,” he stated.
Khan and Lo Greco will settle things on April 21st at the Echo Arena in Liverpool.
