The undefeated WBA super-bantamweight world champion, Guillermo Rigondeaux has sounded yet another battle cry ahead of next weekend’s attempt at Vasyl Lomachenko’s WBO super featherweight title.
Rigondeaux has now suggested that Lomachenko, point blank refused to take him on at the featherweight limit of 126 lbs. Furthermore, Rigondeaux believes that Lomachenko has now only agreed to fight him because naturally, they are two full weight divisions apart.
We tried and we tried and we tried, and he wouldn’t step in the ring with me,” Rigondeaux said through a translator.
Trust me guys….. just like the new iPhone, this high-tech will also brake. #NotAfraid stay tuned!!!!

Rigondeaux also suggested that Lomachenko ‘believes’ he has an advantage over him. “Now he wants to step in the ring with me at 130 because he believes he has an advantage over me.”
Lomachenko however, offered his retort. ‘Loma’ added that little attention should be paid to Rigondeaux distorting the truth. “We all can’t believe in that nonsense, whatever he’s saying,” Lomachenko said through a translator.

“We have a video of one of the reporters asking him, ‘Would you like to fight Vasyl Lomachenko?,’ when I was at 126. He asked the reporter, ‘Hold on a second. At what weight am I fighting?’ And the reporter said, ‘122.’
“[And he said], ‘Well, what kind of question do we have? I’m fighting at 122. So why are you asking this silly question?’ And this video is on YouTube. Everybody can find it, so it’s not the truth,” Lomachenko said of Rigondeaux’s claims.
You are darn right I will. But apparently @KlimasBoxing is not certain @VasylLomachenko is coming to take me down as he usually does with everyone else. Can’t wait!!! 🇨🇺🥊🇺🇦 #LomaRigohttps://t.co/6MHTJeOD3K
