Tommy Fury defeated Jake Paul via split decision in what must be one of the most hyped eight-round main events in the history of the sport.
After all the talking on both sides, Fury did indeed prove too much for the American YouTuber-turned-fighter. Jake Paul’s aspirations of world titles were damaged by the fundamentals of the Brit, who got up off the canvas in the final round to win it on two judges’ scorecards.
Given the hype surrounding the Saudi Arabia backed event, plenty of people in the boxing world offered their immediate reactions.
