So far this has been nothing but Anthony Joshua’s year in boxing.
He’s been basking in the spotlight ever since he knocked out Wladimir Klitschko in their epic heavyweight battle back in April at Wembley Stadium.
With his win, Joshua became the IBF, IBO, WBA champion of the world and solidified his position as the number one heavyweight boxer on the planet.
This week he won the QG Sportsman Of The Year award.

Joshua was also congratulated by David Haye, who wants to fight Joshua sometime in 2018.
Recently Haye told why he likes the challenge of fighting the much larger and dangerous opponent that is Joshua.
While ‘AJ’ has his sights set on Kubrat Pulev, ‘The Haymaker’ has confirmed a fight announcement in a couple of weeks, but he wants Joshua once the time is right.
“He knows he is my target, he’s everybody’s target because he is considered number one. I love the fact that he’s 10 years younger than me and three stone heavier than me, three inches taller. That for me is a challenge and a challenge 90 percent of the population don’t think I’ve got a chance with,” explained Haye according to boxingscene.com.
