Liam Smith and Liam Williams collide this coming weekend in what promises to be one of the most captivating rematches of a tremendous 2017. There is lingering bad blood between the pair following their first fight where Smith recorded a controversial in their first clash in April when Williams surrendered on his stool at the end of the ninth with a cut eye.
Williams started by saying: “If I beat him this time around, which I totally believe I will, I think it is genuinely going to make him consider just where he goes next. “He is going to question just how far he can go now. It could be difficult for him to come back from if he loses.

“It is going to be difficult for him once I get the better of him and beat him. It depends how much he wants it after he gets beaten again.”

He said: “I have been a lot more focused this time around. I want to show that little something extra when we meet. “I just want to put an end to it now with him and then carry on and achieve the goals I have set myself.”He is also convinced that he discovered enough in the first meeting to enable him to triumph this time around.He said: “There are things I have taken from the first fight that I can exploit. I will know what to expect and I will be ready for it.
“I learnt a hell of a lot from the last fight and I feel that is only going to make for a more exciting fight this time around.
