There was a little bit of comedic back on forth at the British QG Awards between former Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher and current heavyweight champion of the world, Anthony Joshua.
Gallagher, a notorious scrapper in the name of rock n roll, was asked what would he do if Joshua wanted to have a little tussle with him.
The singer responded with a classic Gallagher answer.
“You want a scrap I’ll say f*** it come on then!” joked Gallagher.
He did admit that he is a big fan of Joshua and would never get into the ring with him.
“Joshua, I’m a big fan of his, I’d like to meet him,” commented Gallagher.
Later on during the actual awards ceremony, the singer won the Rock ‘n’ Star Of The Year award and complimented Joshua on stage in his own true fashion.
“Anthony Joshua, the f******g main man! Big up to him. I can’t get big up here man. Knowing that he’s over there,” said Gallagher while pointing at Joshua.

Later on after the awards Joshua was interviewed and asked about Gallagher’s funny comments.
“You can tell what type of character he is,” said Joshua with a smile on his face.
“Straight up, no fear. I’ve got too much respect for him. If he wants to have a little move around I can line him out with Idris [Elba],” laughed Joshua.
Joshua was also asked about David Haye’s call out for 2018 to which Joshua simply responded:
“One at a time.”

Joshua is set to face Kubrat Pulev at The Principality Stadium in Cardiff on October 28th.
