Manny Pacquiao is finally ready to return to the ring according to Top Rank CEO and legendary boxing mogul Bob Arum has now shared that he could be ready for action within the first quarter of 2018.
‘The Pacman’ Manny Pacquiao has been out of action since shockingly surrendering his WBO world welterweight title against Australian Jeff Horn in July.

Pacquiao had a rematch clause attached to that first fight, but could not commit to the rematch given his Senate responsibilities in his homeland of the Philippines not allowing him sufficient time to prepare properly for a fight.
But there will be additional time in the new year for Pacquiao’s projected return to the squared circle, as the Senate will be in recess.
Furthermore, ‘The Pacman’ has let his intentions become known through his advisor, Michael Koncz who has shared Pacquiao’s ideas and thoughts moving forwards with Bob Arum.
It is Arum’s focus to now place Pacquiao in a competitive fight before looking to fight the winner of Jeff Horn’s upcoming mandatory title defence against Pacquiao’s Top Rank stablemate, Terence Crawford.
We are going to find him a date in April,” said Arum to the Manila Bulletin.
Arum shared that the Filipino 8-weight world champion, Manny Pacquiao wants a captivating matchup to kick-off his return to the ring.
“Manny doesn’t want to fight (on) an undercard and he wants an interesting fight (when he returns),” Arum said.
Arum also underlined his plans to have ‘The Pacman’ be an active fighter with six fights over the next two calendar years.
“We signed him up for three fight in 2018 and if he does well, we will sign him up again for another three (in 2019).”
“We are going to make him a star,” Arum concluded.
