David Haye promised us an announcement for today and he’s finally spilled the beans.
His promotion, Hayemaker Ringstar, will host a series of fights on October 20th at the Indigo O2 in London.
The biggest news is Olympic silver medallist Joy Joyce making his professional debut against fellow heavyweight and current WBO Inter-Continental champion, Ian Lewison (12-3-1).
Haye also announced that one of the UK’s most famous MMA stars, Michael ‘Venom’ Page, will take part in this event on October 20th.

“No warm-up fights for JoyJoyce. Getting straight to it v Ian Lewison,” wrote Haye.
As mentioned before, MMA superstar Michael Page will also fight on the card.

So far there is no word who Haye himself will actually fight. The biggest rumour is either a rematch against Tony Bellew or a possible world title fight against Hughie Fury if he manages to grab the belt from WBO champion Joseph Parker on September 23rd.
Haye has been recovering from Achilles injury for most of the year. He’s posted updates from the gym and has confirmed that he’s ready to step into the ring in December. Haye also has hopes fighting Anthony Joshua in 2018.
