Floyd Mayweather looks primed to delve back into the influencer world for his next exhibition, with a fight with YouTube star Deji said to be in the works for November.
According to The Mirror, Mayweather’s representatives are said to be close to finalising a November 13th date at the Coca Cola Arena in Dubai – where Mayweather faced former sparring partner Don Moore earlier this year.
A fight with Deji, brother of rapper and internet sensation KSI, would the be the latest instalment in Mayweather’s lucrative tour of exhibition bouts. The 50-0 legend is actually pencilled in for a bout with Japanese MMA fighter Mikuru Asakura in just over a week.
Deji himself recently went 1-0 as a professional boxer, picking up a stoppage victory over fellow YouTuber Fousey on the first edition of the DAZN / Misfit Boxing Series – where his brother KSI was the main event.
Whilst falling short of confirming a fight with Mayweather, Deji did take to Twitter to state that details of his next fight would be announced soon, with numerous other social media sources reporting Mayweather as his opponent.
