Eddie Hearn has named unbeaten Australian Teremoana Teremoana as the man he wants in with Moses Itauma — an Itauma Teremoana showdown the promoter calls simply “the fight”. Hearn made his pitch to FightHype, as reported by Boxing News Online, backing his KO artist to one day hand the 21-year-old his first defeat.
Itauma, who has knocked out 12 of his 14 professional opponents without ever fighting past the sixth round, challenges Filip Hrgovic for the vacant IBF heavyweight title at the end of the month — a test Hearn expects him to pass. “I think that he wins and I think that he wins well, but it is a real test because he has never really fought a world-class, top 15 guy,” the rival promoter said.
The Itauma Teremoana Fight Hearn Is Building
“You have got to have that speed of foot and Teremoana has got it, but he has also got that power and he has got that strength,” Hearn added of the 28-year-old, who has stopped all 11 of his pro opponents — nine inside the first round.
