Anthony Joshua is just under a week away from the latest big fight of his early career. He will put his IBF, IBO and WBA world heavyweight titles on the line when he takes on New Zealand’s WBO heavyweight titleholder.
It will be the second unification of the undefeated Briton powerhouse, ‘AJ’s career. However, question marks have been raised over the 2012 Olympic Gold Medalist’s stamina and the issue of his weight.

He is gradually beginning to weigh in heavier and heavier with every fight. But the unified world heavyweight champion, himself is not worried at all.
“I don’t know about this weight nonsense. It is what it is;” Joshua said.
“I beat Takam comfortably, whether I was 18st, 19st, 20st.”
“I’m weighing the same as I was before the Takam fight at this stage.”
“Whether I’m 20st or not, there’s no weight limit in order to win a fight at heavyweight.”
“I have to win a fight and weight doesn’t win fights. Whether I’m 18st or 20st, it’s how I feel.
“I’m not in training camp for these three months trying to do Weight Watchers.”

“That’s not my goal. Training camp isn’t about losing weight, it’s about working on your technique, being able to go the rounds.
“We spar 15 rounds and providing we do shadow and bag work there are many rounds afterwards and we run hard. So weight shouldn’t be an issue. My focus is just skill-set.”
“I like improving my skill-set rather than worrying about getting fitter.”
“A lot of fighters go into training camp and go, ‘I want to be fit for this fight, I want to be in great shape’, flexing and all that.”
Joseph Parker has spoken glowingly about how his training camp has gone and has gone as far as to say this has been the best camp of his career.
The New Zealander’s team said they expect their man to come in very light and Joshua says it was to be expected because of how much success Wladimir Klitschko had against him in his last fight.
There's no draw; there's going to be impact, there's going to be pain, there's going to be blood. Let's handle business 💫 @BulkPowders#BULKPOWDERS#TEAMBULKpic.twitter.com/xSmMGZQV79

Joshua added: “Yes, he will rely a lot on movement because I spoke so openly about the Wladimir Klitschko fight, about how his movement was great.”
“I see that they watch a lot of that fight to try to find my weaknesses. They will probably try to emulate what Klitschko did.”
