The former IBF champion also rejected suggestions that his financial demands stalled negotiations. As Boxing News 24 notes, Haney is weighing his options — WBA champion Jack Catterall is also available, and keeping both camps guessing hands Team Haney leverage to chase the better deal. Catterall’s manager, Sam Jones, says his side have already accepted the proposed date and location, while accusing Paro of asking for too much money.
