Matchroom vs. Queensberry 5 On 5 Full Rules Revealed

All of the details for the upcoming Matchroom vs. Queensberry 5 On 5 card have been revealed along with all the fighters taking part.

This historic coming together of the two influential promotional outfits has been a long time in the works but is now just weeks away.

It will take place on June 1st out in Saudi Arabia as the the undercard to the superb light heavyweight unification between Dmitry Bivol and Artur Beterbiev.

Following the announcement of the weights last month, the fighters and the rules were revealed in a press conference on Monday.

On the card will be Deontay Wilder up against Zhilei Zhang, Filip Hrgovic versus Daniel Dubois, Craig Richards takes on Willy Hutchinson, Ray Ford meets Nick Ball, and Ammo Williams fights Hamzah Sheeraz.

The scoring for each fight has been outlined in a new post on X by Matchroom.

“1 point for a decision win. 2 points for a KO/TKO win. 0 points for a draw. Captain’s points are worth double.”

Eddie Hearn and Frank Warren picked their captains, with Wilder representing Matchroom, and Sheeraz representing Queensberry.

Quite what the winner of the night overall gets is unclear but bragging rights alone will be well worth it for whichever promotional outfit comes out on top. It is rumoured that a second similar competition will play out in London later in the year.
